I love food.

I love cooking. I love baking. I love one-pot dishes, and curries, and cakes. I love vegetables. I love playing with spices. I love recipes where everything looks like it's going wrong until the very last minute. I love making salad where all the colours clash. I love reducing stews and pie fillings down until they ooze rather than drip. I love it when you're baking, and you mix the dry stuff with the wet stuff, and the textures start to blend and the flour and cocoa and cinnamon look all soft and fluffy next to the sticky creamed butter and sugar. I love it when you put a steaming, bubbling pot of food on the table and whoever you chose to cook for goes "ooooh!", and then they eat it all.
